How Do You Jump A Trim Solenoid

Depressing the UPOUT and UP switches at the same time allows the current to bypass the trim limit switch.

How do you jump a trim solenoid. Hot to fix your tilt and trim. The trim motor can provide about 17 of trim before the trim limit switch opens and shuts off current to the pump. Connect these 2 together this will bypass the trim limit switch.

The solenoid wthe blue wire from the pump motor is the up solenoid. The drive should still come up with trailer switch. Make that connection with authority.

Get out the screwdriver and touch the metal end to the post that leads to the starter opposite to the one that leads to the battery. Remove the plastic cover over the 2 solenoids on the trim pump.
