The bluff trail is located in the Montania de Oro State Park. There is not a lot of beach access due to the elevation of us being so high up. 41 miles total but there are many trails you can take Level.
Montana de Oro State Park is located on Pecho Valley Road just a few miles south of Morro Bay and Los Osos along the Central California Coast. Dogs are allowed at Montaña de Oro State Park where stunning cliffs beaches coastal plains streams canyons and hills dominate the landscape. The Montaña de Oro Tide Pools along the Bluff Trail are easy to access and at low tide you will have a lot of tide pool.
This is a trail you can travel in an hour and a half or spend hours looking at the beauty that had been given us. Point Buchon Trail offers some of the most scenic views of the Central Coast coastline perfectly preserved and protected. There is a wonderful view to the north of Spooners Cove a popular beach located just below the visitors center.
